🛥️ Thames Clippers Ticket Prices & Travel Information
Uber Boat by Thames Clippers divides the service into three zones (East, Central, West). Ticket costs depend on the zones you travel through and how you pay. You can buy tickets online, via the Thames Clippers Tickets or Uber app, with an Oyster/Contactless card, or at the pier (standard fares). Discounts apply for children, concessions and certain pass holders.

🌉 Cross River Fares
Cheaper short crossings between:
Barking Riverside ↔ Woolwich (Royal Arsenal)
Rotherhithe ↔ Canary Wharf
Greenland (Surrey Quays) ↔ Canary Wharf
Cross River Single fare (Oyster / Contactless / App): £4.10.
Carnets (20 tickets) available on the app from £57.40.
No child/concession/Travelcard discounts apply on Cross River fares.
⏰ Commuter AM Tickets
Weekday travel between 05:00–09:30 via the Thames Clippers Tickets app can save up to 25 % compared with standard pay-as-you-go fares.
🧑💼 Discounts & Concessions
Children: 5–15 half price; under 4 free.
TfL Travelcard: 1/3 off many standard fares (when printed or on Oyster).
Freedom Pass / 60+ Oyster: 50 % off (excluding return tickets bought at piers).
Disabled passengers: 50 % off; carers travel free with concession ticket.
Veterans: 50 % off all fares when booking concession tickets.
Tate Members: 25 % off between Tate Modern and Tate Britain (pier tickets).
🛠️ Notes
Using Contactless or Oyster to tap in/out is usually cheaper than buying at the pier.
TfL daily capping does not apply to Uber Boat services.
Bikes and dogs travel free.
